Prajay and Punita would like to
extend a warm and friendly welcome to guests of the Arundel Park Hotel. A
small, family owned, country house hotel, set in the beautiful English
countryside of West Sussex.
As
a historic and quaint town, Arundel is packed full of character; offering
something interesting and fun for all ages. Places of interest include
the magnificent medieval castle owned by the Duke of Norfolk and the
grand cathedral. Activities in the area include fishing, boating, bowls,
cricket, rambling, ballooning, golf and horseracing. Visitors can work
their way through the local shops twinkling with enticing trinkets or
simply browse through the specialist antique shops. The farmer’s market
provides an excellent opportunity to purchase fresh local produce. The
wildfowl trust keeps children entertained with interesting birds and
specialist craft activities throughout the year, and there’s a boating
lake/duck pond a stone’s throw away. The quieter beaches of this part of Sussex are an attraction in themselves
with an entertainment area and beachfront train for small children. The
lido offers summer fun for all the family.
Special
events including
celebrity cricket matches and balls in the castle and its grounds, the
Arundel festival offering theatrical and musical performances, Goodwood
and Fontwell race days, make Arundel a magical place to be throughout the
year.
